  • Police District Council Member.

    As the District Council Member for the 1st Police District, I work to bring police officers and Chicago residents together to plan, prioritize, and build mutual trust, strengthen the police accountability system, give Chicagoans a meaningful new role in oversight, and explore and advance alternative effective approaches to public safety. My four-year term began on May 2, 2023.

  • Chicago Architecture Center Docent.

    Chicago Architecture Center volunteer docents develop and conduct public and private tours to serve as interpreters of Chicago’s architecture and its history.

  • New Politics Advisory Council.

    New Politics is a nonprofit organization that recruits and develops servant leaders who put community and country over self.

  • Brewseum Advisory Council.

    The Chicago Brewseum is a nonprofit cultural institution dedicated to the global story of beer and its power to build community.

Initiatives.

  • Newsletter curator and publisher.

    Jobs/Events/Reads is a monthly-ish newsletter focused on, you guessed it, jobs, events, and reads. Published since 2016, the newsletter boasts a 65% open rate and 30% click rate.

  • Chicago Voter Engagement.

    Established in 2016, ChiWomenVote is a nonpartisan network aimed at engaging women in the political process while celebrating the power of our voice and our vote. This includes forums for the 2018 Illinois gubernatorial candidates, 2020 Presidential Candidates, and early voting and debate watch events. In 2019, ChiWomenVote merged with two other organizations to create IllinoisWomenVote, a network of approximately 8,000 across Illinois.
